Maricopa earned a solid win against Casa Grande on Thursday. This snapped a 4 game losing streak against the Cougars.
An early fumble by Casa Grande seemed to give the Rams some energy, with the support of their lively fans.
Maricopa had a steady dose of ground game with 4 ball carriers account for a combined 16 car and 92 yards, led by Nate Hearn who had 10 car for 64 yards.
The Rams improved to 2-1 with the win while the Cougars fell to 1-2.
